Getting Here
Brooks Lodge is located within Katmai National Park, a remote area of Alaska accessible only by air. The park is accessed almost exclusively via float plane service from King Salmon.
Katmai Air provides air transportation to Brooks Lodge, including air service between Anchorage and King Salmon aboard pressurized Pilatus PC-12 aircraft (approx. 1 hour) and float plane service between King Salmon and Brooks (approx. 20 mins). We are dedicated to ensuring that you have a memorable experience by accessing Alaska’s wilderness in a safe and comfortable manner.
For those camping at the Brooks Camp campground, or those interested in planning a day excursion from Anchorage, Katmai Air also offers air transportation to Brooks from Anchorage and King Salmon on a daily basis throughout the summer season (see dates below).
Flightseeing trips, aircraft charters, and fly outs to remote fishing locations can also be arranged.

All air travel to Brooks Lodge via Anchorage or King Salmon is provided by third party air carriers and is not considered a visitor service as part of Katmailand, Inc.’s concession contract with the National Park Service.
